How a job runs on it
Type the measure. The price comes out at your own rates and the kit list is worked out with it. Change any number on the list, or build your own. The quote goes out on your letterhead, by email or on WhatsApp.
When the customer says yes, put the job on someone's day. It lands on their phone with the address, the RAMS and what to load.
They sign in for work, read and sign the RAMS, photograph the scaff tag and tick Erected, with a signal or without one. Their tick is the evidence: you say when it is on hire.
The weeks you agreed are the deal. The desk flags a job a week before its weeks run out so you can ring the customer, and every inspection is flagged when it is due. The handover certificate and the inspection record go to the customer from your own email address.
Invoice the quote once it is up, with the VAT and the CIS set out and a Pay now link to your own card payments. Send it to your Xero, QuickBooks or Sage, and when it is paid there it is marked paid here.
The hire stops the day the customer off hires it. The strike goes on someone's day, they tick it down, and the kit comes back onto the stock take.
Your team
Add them on Your team and the desk gives you a code for each person. They open scaffyard.com on their phone, add it to the home screen, tap I work for a company and type the code. A code works once and lasts a month if it is not used. Once they are in, they stay signed in until you switch them off.
Their own day and nothing else: today’s and tomorrow’s jobs, the address, the RAMS, what to load, their own card and tickets, and their hours. Never a price, never the yard’s money, never anyone else’s details. Gangs, supervisors, labourers, drivers and yard staff each get the screen for their job.
The money a yard forgets
Kit goes up, and one day the customer rings to say they have finished with it. The weeks you agreed are in the price, and the week a job runs past them is the week nobody rings the customer about. The desk flags the job a week before its weeks run out, asks you once they have whether to charge extra hire or leave it, and keeps what you charge at the top of the list until it is billed.
A worked sum on a made-up weekly rate, not a promise about your yard. Put your own rate in and the arithmetic is the same shape: one remembered overrun pays for the year.
Everything else the yard keeps
Every ticket with its expiry date, listed before it runs out, with links to CSCS Smart Check and the NOCN Card Checker. Who was in each day, and their hours, agreed by you.
The stock take: what is out, and on which site. Lorry load lists with the weight against the lorry's payload.

The price is the whole price: nothing is added at checkout. Every plan: 30 days free with no card, no limit on jobs, quotes, invoices or customers, Xero, QuickBooks or Sage for your books, and the invoice spreadsheet for your accountant. You are not counted. Monthly, and it renews until you cancel.
The quote, the kit list, the invoice, the handover and every email carry your company, your logo and your VAT number. The customer never sees ScaffYard.
Every job, customer, kit line and invoice exports to a file you keep. Close the account and the lot goes with it.
Straight about it
ScaffYard is independent software. It is not approved, endorsed or accredited by NASC, the National Access and Scaffolding Confederation, or by CISRS, CSCS, CPCS or HSE, and it is not connected with any of them. It keeps the cards and the records as evidence. Whether someone is competent, or a scaffold is fit to use, is for you to decide.
